Good Afternoon,

I know it’s been a few weeks since the last post, but it’s been a busy couple of weeks.  We are now well into the spring season and their have been a lot games played either in leagues or tournaments.  As everyone knows I am around every weekend at the park watching games and seeing our keepers in action.  This is a great way for me to gage the keepers in game situations.  Obviously, I see them on a weekly basis in training, but seeing them play in games is great way for me to see there progress over the year.  Don’t worry if you haven’t seen me yet, trust me you will or you might not have been looking hard enough.  If you have any questions for me when you see me around the park please feel free to ask and hopefully I’ll have an answer.  Well I look forward to seeing everyone throughout the spring and good luck.

Spring GK Academy Update:

We have just completed the third week of the spring academy and we couldn’t be happier with the progress.  The attendance has been great and the kids are developing weekly.  All of the topics we have hit on so far in the academy have been replicated in the sessions at a successful rate.  It has also been nice to see the keepers working on these topics in there weekly sessions.  I look forward to seeing everyone this Sunday.

Spring Training

Good Morning,

I wanted to take a few minutes to talk about training, games, and upcoming events for CASL Keepers. As you all know by now spring training is in full affect and games have started up, so we should be use to the goalkeeping training schedule by now.  Please make sure you are there on time, so we can accomplish what we need to accomplish.  Also, keepers should show up to each session early, so they are warmed and ready to go when the session starts.   I know sometimes it's tough to be early, but please do your best, so we can get started on time.

Dress Code:
  • CASL t-shirt
  • Black shorts/pants
  • Black Soccer Socks (not ankle or calf socks)
  • CASL Keeper Shirt
Upcoming Events:
  •       2012 Spring Goalkeeping Academy ( Spots are filling up, so please sign-up today)
  •       Summer Goalkeeping Academy

2012 Distribution School

I want to thank everyone who participated in the first annual Winter Distribution School.  Without your commitment to the program its success would not have been possible.  I am looking forward to seeing everyone throughout the spring season and hopefully you'll apply the skills you learned in training and in your games.

2012 Winter Distribution School:
Do to the make up day we were not able to include everyone in the picture, but we were still able to get a great shot of the group.

Thanks

Welcome,

First and foremost I want to thank everyone for taking a few minutes out of there day to look over the blog.  I have created this blog specifically for the goalkeeping side of the club.  It will be updated weekly with updates, pictures, videos, and other things necessary for the site.  This will be a good way for everyone to see what kind of academies we are offering throughout the year and it will also help everyone get a little more familiar with the position.

Coming Soon:
